Elevate Youth Thanksgiving Food Drive

This holiday season, Elevate Youth, in collaboration with our incredible partners and volunteers, delivered 130 fully funded Thanksgiving meals to high need families within our network. The event serves as a catalyst for our new E.A.T. initiative, which will introduce health & wellness to our existing curriculum. This year, we are beyond thankful for the many friends, supporters, and close partners who stepped up for our community during this difficult time. Here are a few highlights:

The goods…

The goods…

We are excited to introduce health and wellness to our existing curriculum through Elevate Youth's new E.A.T. initiative. Our three-pronged approach: Educate, Access, Thrive, will provide our youth with the nutrition, information, and experiences they need to live an empowered and healthy life, and become advocates for others in their community.

We have always believed that our programming is about more than experiencing the outdoors. It is about empowering our youth to meet their full potential. this initiative will allow us to deliver fresh, organic food to families in the Elevate Youth community, provide consistent programming surrounding health, wellness and the outdoors, and lead more outings to local farms and urban gardens.

If you believe in our holistic approach, please consider becoming a sponsor of this new initiative this holiday season by visiting our campaign.

We received frozen chickens & fresh, organic produce, including squash, onions, carrots & potatoes from our friends at Family Dinner, .

Our amazing partner, Commonwealth Kitchen, provided us with meal boxes full of baked goods, pies, prepared sides, and spices.

Stop & Shop generously donated gift cards to our highest need families.

Frozen & refrigerated food was stored overnight due to the generosity of Johnny’s Luncheonette in Newton, MA.

Three of our close partners, Boys & Girls Club Dorchester, Sibling Connections & The West End House corresponded with families and were instrumental in the distribution and coordination of meal delivery.

25 amazing volunteers stepped up on a rather hectic day to provide our families with a delicious holiday meal after a truly difficult year.
