As the weather warms, we begin to look forward to the magical time year many of us remember with fondness from when we were kids. The suspense of the countdown till the last day of school followed by the free time to explore outside, hang with friends, travel, experience new things, and maybe even attending an overnight camp.
Read MoreWith Spring in full bloom in New England, our Elevate Youth Odyssey participants were able to venture outside and explore the sport of orienteering. Orienteering is a timed scavenger hunt in the woods where participants have to use map reading skills, landmarks, and their athletic ability to find marked checkpoints in a designated area.
Read MoreAt Elevate Youth, this is one of the most important days of the year. For us, it is a celebration of Mother Nature, and all that she provides for us. We see these benefits everyday, from the smiles on our youth's faces when they make their first turn on skis, to the excitement we hear when they catch their first fish, or the curiosity and emotion which comes out when discussing climate change in the classroom.
